RidePlan: Main Screen

From the home tab you can add parts to your current setup. Once you have parts added you can see suggested parts and information about your combination of parts from the details tab.

Set Your Horsepower Goals

Tap the horsepower goals card for a dialog to set your horsepower goals and the RPM you'd like to make max horsepower. Select engine or wheel horsepower and the other one will reflect.

Changing horsepower goals changes the boost level required, and changing the boost level changes the horsepower goal to an estimate at that level. VE and BSFC similar.

The RPM you select will be the RPM used by the throttle body size suggestion, if you have a higher redline in mind use the RPM at the redline you want.

The header size suggested will be to make peak torque at this RPM. The RPM Tune screen has more header sizing options and you can select a tune for each RPM level to create a horsepower curve.

The RPM tune screen does what the title implies. You can select a tune for a range of RPMs and see the horsepower estimate as a result. Selecting an RPM will also suggest a header size to make max torque at the indicated RPM.

RidePlan: RPM Tune Screen

This screen has three tabs, results, tune and saved. Select an parameters for each RPM in a range to create a horsepower curve. Tap refresh to refresh the RPM range if needed.

Select an RPM on the results tab to see a header size suggestion to optimize torque for that RPM. Selecting an RPM to optimize for should be based on your goals, just selecting the redline and optimizing for there may not be the best selection for your goals. Sizes are for Inside Diameter of the header pipe.

The "RPM head supports" is generally an RPM the cylinder head is optimized for, according to math.

All calculations in the app are estimates, guesses, calculations, based on your input and meant to help you build a better engine but it does not consider every possible variable.
